additional costs to the Public Utilities Commission (PUC) and the Maine Fuel
Board within the Office of Licensing and Registration, Department of
Professional and Financial Regulation associated with a joint effort by those
two agencies to frame new major substantive rules regarding the safety
jurisdiction of the PUC over certain gas utilities can be absorbed within the
existing budgeted resources of both agencies. |
