Fiscal Detail and Notes
This floor amendment delays the effective date of this bill to January 1, 2012 and increases the initial license fee from $1,500 to $5,000.  The incremental effect over the committee amendment is a reduction in General Fund appropriation of $134,766 in fiscal year 2011-12 and $29,657 in fiscal year 2012-13.  It also increases Other Special Revenue Funds revenue and allocation to the Department of Public Safety by $35,000 in fiscal year 2011-12 and $25,000 in fiscal year 2012-13.  The January 1, 2012 effective date will decrease General Fund revenue by $17,556 in fiscal year 2011-12 and decrease Local Government Fund revenue by $919 in fiscal year 2011-12 because the new effective date will result in fewer sales tax collections than would have occurred under the committee amendment.
