An Act To Require the Land for Maine's Future Fund To Expend Funds for Deer Wintering Areas
Be it enacted by the People of the State of Maine as follows:
Sec. 1. 5 MRSA §6203, sub-§4 is enacted to read:
4. Funds for deer wintering areas. Notwithstanding any provision of law to the contrary, 25% of all proceeds in the Land for Maine's Future Fund must be used for the purchase and maintenance of deer wintering areas, as identified by the Department of Inland Fisheries and Wildlife pursuant to Title 12, section 10107.
