An Act To Allow the Use of Electronic Benefits Transfer Funds at Farmers' Markets
Be it enacted by the People of the State of Maine as follows:
Sec. 1. 22 MRSA §3104, sub-§15 is enacted to read:
15. Farmers' markets. A recipient of food supplement benefits under this section may use funds received through the electronic benefits transfer system under subsection 4-A to purchase food at a farmers' market. For purposes of this subsection, "farmers' market" has the same meaning as in Title 7, section 415, subsection 1, paragraph A.
