An Act To Allow a Front-wheel-drive Vehicle To Be Equipped with Studded Tires on the Front Only
Be it enacted by the People of the State of Maine as follows:
Sec. 1. 29-A MRSA §1919, sub-§4 is enacted to read:
4. Front-wheel-drive vehicle. A person may operate a front-wheel-drive vehicle with 2 studded tires on the front only, in accordance with subsection 1.
Sec. 2. Rules. The Department of Public Safety shall amend its rules to implement this Act. Rules adopted pursuant to this section are routine technical rules as defined in the Maine Revised Statutes, Title 5, chapter 375, subchapter 2-A.
