An Act To Encourage Transparency in the Department of Education
Be it enacted by the People of the State of Maine as follows:
Sec. 1. 20-A MRSA §205 is enacted to read:
§ 205. Disclosure of finances
The department shall disclose annually its full budget and the true cost of all its programs and services and publish this disclosure on the department's publicly accessible website.
