Resolve, Directing the Maine Community College System To Establish the Great Works School Campus

Sec. 1. Establishment of campus. Resolved: That the Maine Community College System shall establish the Great Works School in Sanford as a campus of the Maine Community College System. The Maine Community College System shall establish the Great Works School to:

1. Collaborate with other higher education entities and enter into partnerships with businesses and industry on workforce development, innovation, product development and marketing;

2. Support a business incubator center in manufacturing, composites and advanced energy systems; and

3. Offer seamless transfer programs among associate degree programs, bachelor's degree programs and master's degree programs.
