An Act To Require Executive Orders To Be Published Online
Be it enacted by the People of the State of Maine as follows:
Sec. 1. 1 MRSA §521, sub-§3 is enacted to read:
3. Online publishing. The Secretary of State shall publish on a publicly accessible website all executive orders in effect on the effective date of this subsection and, for an effective executive order issued after the effective date of this subsection, within 24 hours of the order’s issuance.
