An Act Concerning Motorcycle Safety
Be it enacted by the People of the State of Maine as follows:
Sec. 1. 29-A MRSA §2083, sub-§1, ¶C, as amended by PL 2005, c. 577, §33, is further amended to read:
C. An operator of a motorcycle, operating under a learner's permit or within one year 10 years of successfully completing a driving test; and
SUMMARY
This bill requires an operator of a motorcycle who has held a license endorsed for the operation of a motorcycle for less than 10 years to wear protective headgear.
