‘Sec. 1. 30-A MRSA §383, sub-§5 is enacted to read:
5. Minimum qualifications. The chief deputy must meet the minimum qualifications for sheriffs pursuant to section 371-B, subsection 3.’

Amend the bill by inserting after the enacting clause and before section 1 the following:
‘Sec. 1. 30-A MRSA §383, sub-§5 is enacted to read:
Amend the bill by relettering or renumbering any nonconsecutive Part letter or section number to read consecutively.
