Amend the bill in section 1 in subsection 2 in paragraph B in the last line (page 1, line 20 in L.D.) by inserting after the following: " feature" the following: ' if the policy was put in place as a result of collective bargaining'

This amendment clarifies that a disability feature of a life insurance policy, if that policy was put in place as a result of collective bargaining, will not be considered a disability insurance policy as used in the coordination of benefits provisions of the Maine Workers’ Compensation Act of 1992.
