Amend the amendment in section 2 in §6312 in subsection 3 in paragraph F in the first line (page 2, line 27 in amendment) by striking out the following: " and"

Amend the amendment in section 2 in §6312 in subsection 3 in paragraph G in the first line (page 2, line 28 in amendment) by striking out the following: " weekend." and inserting the following: ' weekend; and'

Amend the amendment in section 2 in §6312 in subsection 3 by adding at the end the following:

H A person who has indicated on a valid freshwater fishing license issued under Part 13 that the person engaged in saltwater recreational fishing during the prior year or plans to engage in saltwater recreational fishing during the period covered by the freshwater fishing license. The Department of Inland Fisheries and Wildlife shall provide this data to the federal or state agency responsible for monitoring saltwater recreational fishing at a time and manner as determined by that agency.

This amendment exempts a person from the saltwater recreational fishing registry if that person indicates on a valid fishing license that the person engaged in saltwater recreational fishing during the prior year or plans to engage in saltwater recreational fishing during the period covered by the license. It also directs the Department of Inland Fisheries and Wildlife to provide this data to the federal or state agency responsible for monitoring saltwater recreational fishing at a time and manner as determined by that agency.
