Amend the resolve by striking out all of section 4 and inserting the following:
‘Sec. 4. Funding. Resolved: That the costs to prepare the report must be borne by the department within its existing resources.’

This amendment removes the authorization of the Department of Environmental Protection to accept public and private funds to pay the costs of preparing the report. Instead, this amendment requires the department to complete the report within the existing resources of the department.
