Amend the resolve in section 1 in the last line (page 1, line 18 in L.D.) by striking out the following: "authorized." and inserting the following: 'not authorized; and be it further'

Amend the resolve by inserting after section 1 the following:

‘Sec. 2. Appropriations and allocations. Resolved: That the following appropriations and allocations are made.

Initiative: Provides funds for the development of the assessments necessary to meet the requirements of the federal No Child Left Behind Act of 2001 as well as to demonstrate achievement of the State's content expectations in reading, mathematics and other specific topics.
