Resolved: That the Department of Agriculture, Food and Rural Resources shall conduct a study to examine the potential uses of a locally developed potato plant that is toxic to the Colorado potato beetle, a significant pest to potato crops. Sec. 2. Report. Resolved: That the Department of Agriculture, Food and Rural Resources shall report its findings under section 1, including any recommendations, to the Joint Standing Committee on Agriculture, Conservation and Forestry by December 15, 2009.
