An Act To Ensure a Uniform Comprehensive State Policy Regarding Residency Restrictions for Sex Offenders
Be it enacted by the People of the State of Maine as follows:
Sec. 1. 30-A MRSA §3013 is enacted to read:
§ 3013. Prohibition on ordinance regarding residency restrictions for sex offenders
A municipality may not adopt an ordinance restricting where a person required to register under Title 34-A, chapter 15 may reside.
