An Act To Clarify the Disposition of Fines from Maine's Soft-shelled Clam Laws
Be it enacted by the People of the State of Maine as follows:
Sec. 1. 12 MRSA §6682 is enacted to read:
§ 6682. Fines
A fine collected pursuant to a violation of this subchapter pertaining to soft-shelled clams must be paid to the municipality in which the violation occurred.
