The estimated cost
for the Joint Standing Committee on Health and Human Services to meet three
times to consider the structure, accountability and appropriate level of
legislative and independent oversight of the Fund for a Healthy Maine is
$5,375 in fiscal year 2008-09. The Legislature's proposed budget includes
$20,000 in fiscal year 2008-09 for legislative studies. Whether the amount is sufficient to fund
all studies will depend on the number of studies authorized by the
Legislative Council and the Legislature. |
