| Minor cost increase - General Fund | ||||||
| Fiscal Detail and Notes | ||||||
| The Department of the Attorney General will incur additional costs to adopt and enforce rules to assist consumers in achieving resolution in disputes with certain businesses. The AG assumes that any additional enforcement activities will be minimal and that costs associated with these activities can be absorbed within the department's existing budgeted resources. If that assumption proves to be wrong over time and the new enforcement activities represent a significant increase in workload, the AG may require additional General Fund appropriations. | ||||||
