| The General Purpose Aid for Local Schools program within the Department of Education will require additional General Fund appropriations beginning in fiscal year 2007-08 for the cost of allowing sectarian schools to be eligible to receive prorated public funds for tuition purposes. The Department of Education has estimated the additional total cost to be $972,666 based on the following assumptions: | ||||||
