Fiscal Detail and Notes

The additional documentation requirements necessary to obtain a drivers license will require allocations from the Highway Fund of $292,786 and $352,690 in fiscal years 2007-08 and 2008-09, respectively, to the Bureau of Motor vehicles within the Department of the Secretary of State for 6.5 additional Customer Service Representative positions necessary to handle the increased administrative responsibilities.
