An Act To Renew the Promise of Higher Education
Be it enacted by the People of the State of Maine as follows:
Sec. 1. 20-A MRSA §12723 is enacted to read:
§ 12723. Tuition waiver for low-income residents
A person who has a gross family income of less than $50,000 a year may attend any institution within the system free from tuition charges.
