An Act To Improve Access to and Awareness of the Circuitbreaker Program

This bill is a concept draft pursuant to Joint Rule 208.

This bill proposes to enact measures to increase access to and awareness of the Maine Residents Property Tax Program, also known as the Circuitbreaker Program. The measures would include augmenting the outreach plan and coordination efforts of the Department of Administrative and Financial Services, Bureau of Revenue Services, as required by the Maine Revised Statutes, Title 36, sections 6219 and 6220, respectively.
