Amend the bill in section 1 in §7309 in the first paragraph in the last line (page 1, line 5 in L.D.) by inserting after the following: " tenant." the following: ' A landlord may request a letter from the Department of Health and Human Services to verify a tenant's eligibility for the use of in-home or community support services. This section is repealed January 1, 2009.'
