An Act To Prevent Additional Housing Charges for Persons Requiring In-home Care
Be it enacted by the People of the State of Maine as follows:
Sec. 1. 22 MRSA §7309 is enacted to read:
§ 7309. In-home providers
A landlord may not charge a tenant additional rent or utilities for a person who provides in-home and community support services to the tenant.
