‘ § 4371. Exemption
The provisions of this subchapter do not apply to a municipality that has adopted a municipalwide zoning ordinance based on a comprehensive plan pursuant to this chapter.’

Amend the bill by adding before the summary the following:
‘ § 4371. Exemption
The provisions of this subchapter do not apply to a municipality that has adopted a municipalwide zoning ordinance based on a comprehensive plan pursuant to this chapter.’
SUMMARY
This amendment provides an exemption from the Informed Growth Act, which is enacted in the bill, for a municipality that has adopted a zoning ordinance based on the comprehensive plan pursuant to the Maine Revised Statutes, Title 30-A, chapter 187.
