Resolve, To Stabilize the Naples Waterfront

Sec. 1. Department of Transportation to study Town of Naples waterfront. Resolved: That the Department of Transportation, with the cooperation of the Department of Environmental Protection, shall study the area between Route 302 and Long Lake on the waterfront in the Town of Naples. The study must include a review of the environmental and engineering issues surrounding the disrepair of the waterfront including damaged riprap and asphalt and the feasibility replacing the retaining wall between Long Lake and Route 302; and be it further

Sec. 2. Report. Resolved: That, no later than December 5, 2007, the Department of Transportation shall report its findings along with any recommended legislation related to the report to the Joint Standing Committee on Transportation. The Joint Standing Committee on Transportation may submit a bill related to the report to the Second Regular Session of the 123rd Legislature.
