Resolve, To Increase Fairness in Medical Payments

Sec. 1. Reimbursements based on DRG method. Resolved: That the Department of Health and Human Services shall, within one year of the effective date of this resolve, implement a system to pay all hospital MaineCare reimbursements based on the diagnosis-related group, or DRG, method that is used by the federal Medicare system.
