An Act To Increase College Attainment
Be it enacted by the People of the State of Maine as follows:
Sec. 1. 20-A MRSA §4730 is enacted to read:
§ 4730. Completion of college application
In addition to the requirements of this chapter and the system of learning results established in section 6209, in order to receive a diploma, a secondary school student must complete at least one application to a college, university or other postsecondary educational institution.
Summary
This bill requires secondary school students to complete at least one application to a postsecondary educational institution.
