An Act To Improve the Lien Process
Be it enacted by the People of the State of Maine as follows:
Sec. 1. 10 MRSA §4013 is enacted to read:
§ 4013. Notice to decedent's estate
Notice of a lien placed by a governmental entity or for medical expenses on the property of a deceased person and notice of discharge of the lien must be sent by registered mail to the executor or personal representative of the decedent’s estate.
