An Act To Allow the Recovery of Reasonable Attorney's Fees
Be it enacted by the People of the State of Maine as follows:
Sec. 1. 26 MRSA §629, as amended by PL 1983, c. 652, §5, is further amended by adding at the end a new paragraph to read:
A judgment in favor of an employee under this section must include, in addition to the actual damages, liquidated damages equal to the amount of actual damages plus the costs of suit, including reasonable attorney's fees.
