An Act To Impose Zero Tolerance for Methamphetamine Production
Be it enacted by the People of the State of Maine as follows:
Sec. 1. 17-A MRSA §1252, sub-§10 is enacted to read:
10. Notwithstanding the provisions of subsection 2, the court shall order a period of imprisonment of at least 25 years to life for a defendant convicted of the offense of trafficking in methamphetamine when it was proved the defendant manufactured methamphetamine.
