Fiscal Detail and Notes
This amendment eliminates the General Fund cost of the bill of $8,000 in fiscal year 2006-07, increases the General Fund cost of the bill by $3,000 in fiscal year 2007-08 and eliminates the $5,000 General Fund cost in fiscal year 2008-09.
As amended, the Division of Labor Market Information Services within the Department of Labor will require a General Fund appropriation of $8,000 in fiscal year 2007-08 for the costs associated with calculation of the liveable wage for various households by December 31, 2007 and biennially thereafter.  Of this amount, $3,000 is for the one-time programming and other set up costs and $5,000 is for the costs associated with data collection and report preparation.
