| Included in the bill is a General Fund appropriation of $12,000 annually to the University of Maine System to provide funds for Legislative Youth Advisory Council activities. This appropriation should be amended to reflect the Legislature receiving the appropriation. This bill requires the Legislative Council to provide staff support to the advisory council and authorizes the Legislative Council to seek outside sources of funding for the costs of the advisory council, which may result in the collection of Other Special Revenue funds. A base allocation of $500 in each of fiscal years 2005-06 and 2006-07 should be included in the bill in the event outside sources of funding are received. | |||||||||
