Fiscal Detail and Notes
Elimination of application and license fees for an estimated 2,200 truant individuals will result in the estimated loss of $66,000 and $88,000 in fiscal years 2005-06 and 2006-07, respectively, in Highway Fund revenues collected by the Bureau of Motor Vehicles within the Department of the Secretary of State.  In addition, the bureau will require a one-time Highway Fund allocation of $2,600 in fiscal year 2005-06 for the costs of reprogramming computer systems.
