Assumes 936 facilities would be affected, 2 defibrillators would be required on average for each facility at a cost of $2,050 per unit, a 90% Medicaid utilization rate, and training fees in the amount of $1,500 per facility. Future year costs would include replacement costs, service and maintenance, and ongoing training.
