Fiscal Detail and Notes
Requiring physicians that are 70 years of age or older who are actively practicing medicine to pay license registration fees will increase the amount of dedicated revenue received by the Board of Licensure in Medicine, affiliated with the Department of Professional and Financial Regulation, by approximately $25,000 per year beginning in fiscal year 2005-06.
Increasing the cap on the licensing fee for a physician to be temporarily licensed as a camp physician from $100 to $400 may increase the amount of revenue received by the Board of Licensure in Medicine.  The amount can not be determined at this time.
