Sec. 1. 12 MRSA §13155, sub-§2-A is enacted to read:

2-A.__Limited reciprocity.__The commissioner may grant reciprocity up to 7 days to a nonresident ATV user from New Hampshire or the Canadian provinces of Quebec or New Brunswick to participate in a festival or special event in the State if the organizers of the festival or special event give the commissioner written notice 60 days prior to the festival or special event and provide the commissioner with a map of the trails to be used during the festival or special event.

SUMMARY

This bill authorizes the Commissioner of Inland Fisheries and Wildlife to grant a conditional reciprocity to certain nonresident ATV users to participate in festivals and special events held in the State.
