Fiscal Detail and Notes
This bill will require General Fund appropriations to the Judicial Department of $36,006 in fiscal year 2003-04, $41,341 in fiscal year 2004-05, $42,375 in fiscal year 2005-06 and $43,434 in fiscal year 2006-07.  These appropriations will provide funds for a part-time assistant clerk position and to pay active retired judges to serve an additional 69 days per year to carry out the additonal requirements of this act.  In addition, this bill will allow the Department of Corrections to receive Title IV-E funds.  It is estimated that the Other Special Revenue Funds revenue and expenditures will be approximately $500 per year.
