| The Secretary of State's budget includes sufficient funds to accommodate one ballot of average length for the general election in November. If the number or size of the referendum questions increases the ballot length, an additional appropriation of $8,000 or more may be required. | |||||||

| If approved by the voters, this resolution will increase the state bonding limit from $2,000,000 to $30,000,000 if and when the Maine Governmental Facilities Authority outstanding debt is $30,000,000 or less and it is prohibited from incurring any additional debt. If these conditions do not occur, the state bonding limit would not increase. | |||||||
