Sec. 1. Rules regarding collection and reporting of health care practitioner workforce
data. Resolved: That, by January 1, 2002, the boards listed below
shall amend their rules to require that all licensed, registered
and certified persons, including all dependent practitioners,
under the authority of that board complete and return a survey
containing the information required in section 2 as a condition
of their licensure, registration or certification renewal after
January 1, 2002. Each board shall also amend its rules as
necessary to provide annual written reports profiling the
workforce data of all licensed, registered and certified health
care practitioners. Survey data must also be publicly available.
Rules adopted pursuant to this section are routine technical
rules as defined in the Maine Revised Statutes, Title 5, chapter
375, subchapter II-A. The following boards shall amend their
rules:

 
1. Board of Examiners on Speech-Language Pathology and
Audiology;

 
2. Board of Chiropractic Licensure;

 
3. Board of Respiratory Care Practitioners;

 
4. Board of Licensing of Dietetic Practice;

 
5. Board of Licensure in Medicine;

 
6. State Board of Nursing;

 
7. Board of Osteopathic Licensure;

 
8. State Board of Alcohol and Drug Counselors;

 
9. Maine Board of Pharmacy;

 
10. Board of Examiners in Physical Therapy;

 
11. Board of Licensure of Podiatric Medicine;

 
12. State Board of Examiners of Psychologists;

 
13. State Board of Social Worker Licensure;

 
14. Radiologic Technology Board of Examiners;

 
15. Board of Occupational Therapy Practice;

 
16. Board of Complementary Health Care Providers; and

 
17. Board of Counseling Professional Licensure; and be it
