Be it enacted by the People of the State of Maine as follows:

SUMMARY

 
This bill is a concept draft pursuant to Joint Rule 208.

 
This bill proposes to clarify the application and enforcement
of laws concerning the "prevailing wage and benefits," which
means the hourly wage and benefits paid to the median number of
workers employed in a trade or occupation on the 2nd and 3rd week
in September, to ensure that the economic welfare of workers in
Maine is enhanced and not undermined.
