instances of unlawful trafficking in food stamp devices that are
committed pursuant to one scheme or course of conduct, whether the
trafficking is to one person or several persons, may be aggregated
to charge a single unlawful trafficking in food stamp devices of
the appropriate class or grade.

 
Sec. 2. 22 MRSA §3104, sub-§12, as enacted by PL 1995, c. 418, Pt. A,
§4, is repealed.

 
SUMMARY

 
This bill creates the crime of unlawful trafficking in food
stamp devices that can be enforced by state and local enforcement
agencies whenever a person intentionally or knowingly furnishes
food stamp access devices, coupons or authorization cards to an
entity not approved by the United States Secretary of
Agriculture.
