Be it enacted by the People of the State of Maine as follows:

 
Sec. 1. 12 MRSA §7457, sub-§1, ¶J is enacted to read:

 
J.__The Saturday preceding the residents-only Saturday, as
designated in paragraph E, subparagraph (3), must be an open
day for junior hunters only.__The adult accompanying a
junior hunter is not allowed to hunt or carry a firearm.

 
SUMMARY

 
This bill provides an extra day of hunting for junior license
holders by designating the Saturday preceding the residents-only
Saturday as a day for junior hunters only.
