An Act to Encourage Assisted Living Facilities Projects in the State

Be it enacted by the People of the State of Maine as follows:
Sec. 1. Construction reimbursement.
The Bureau of Elder and Adult
Services within the Department of Human Services shall reimburse
assisted living facilities that are renovating existing buildings
at the same reimbursement rate as for new construction.
SUMMARY
This bill directs the Bureau of Elder and Adult Services
within the Department of Human Services to reimburse assisted
living facilities that are renovating existing buildings at the
same rate as for new construction.
