Be it enacted by the People of the State of Maine as follows:

 
Sec. 1. 36 MRSA §1760, sub-§80 is enacted to read:

 
80.__Feminine hygiene products.__Sales of feminine hygiene
products.__For purposes of this subsection, "feminine hygiene
products" means those products used internally or externally to
absorb menstrual flow.

 
SUMMARY

 
This bill exempts from the sales tax feminine hygiene
products.
