| | | Sec. 1. 22 MRSA §254, sub-§8, śC, as enacted by PL 1997, c. 643, Pt. | | RR, §2, is repealed. |

| | | This bill repeals a provision of Maine law that is | | inconsistent with federal regulations. The provision repealed | | requires the Department of Human Services to achieve in the | | elderly low-cost drug program an aggregate rebate amount that is | | 6 percentage points higher than the rebate recommended by the | | federal Health Care Financing Administration. This bill would | | bring Maine law into conformance with federal law. |
