Be it enacted by the People of the State of Maine as follows:

 
Sec. 1. 12 MRSA §7076, sub-§6, as amended by PL 1993, c. 419, §3, is
further amended to read:

 
6. Armed Forces domiciled in Maine. A combination fishing and
hunting license must be issued upon payment of $15 for 1993 and
$20 for 1994 and every year thereafter, plus the issuing fee, to
a member of the Armed Forces of the United States on active duty
who is permanently stationed outside of the State, and to that
person's spouse and children, if that person can show proof that
that person's home of record, as recorded in his that person's
service records, is Maine. A hunting license or fishing license
must be issued upon payment of $10, plus the issuing fee, to a
person who qualifies for a combination hunting and fishing
license under this subsection. That person must be issued all
other licenses or permits at resident fees. The license is valid
during the year of issue.

 
SUMMARY

 
This bill allows military personnel domiciled in Maine to
obtain either a hunting or a fishing license for $10.
