Be it enacted by the People of the State of Maine as follows:

 
Sec. 1. Allocation. The following funds are allocated from Other
Special Revenue funds to carry out the purposes of this Act.

SUMMARY

 
The Cumberland County Integrated Family Crisis Response
Project has received a federal grant to establish a domestic
violence unit in the Cumberland County District Attorney's
Office. This bill allocates a portion of that grant to the
Department of the Attorney General to be used for the
establishment of 2 additional Assistant District Attorney
positions in Cumberland County for the domestic violence unit in
order to access the grant.
