Sec. 1. Department of Education directed to authorize City of Auburn to conduct
expansion, renovation and repair of East Auburn School in Auburn, Maine. Resolved:
That the Department of Education, notwithstanding any other
provision of law, is directed to authorize the City of Auburn to
conduct the expansion, renovation and repair of the East Auburn
School in Auburn, Maine. The expansion and renovation must
remedy existing health and safety problems at the facility and
may include the acquisition of land to accommodate a physical
addition to the school building.

 
SUMMARY

 
This resolve directs the Department of Education to authorize
the City of Auburn to perform the expansion, renovation and
repair of the East Auburn School in Auburn including to remedy
existing health and safety problems and acquire land to
accommodate the physical expansion of the school building.
